Planning Approval Granted for Penshurst

We’re pleased to share that our design for the two-storey home extension in Whitestake, Preston has now received planning approval from South Ribble Borough Council.

The scheme involves major alterations to the existing house, including a large two-storey side and rear extension and single-storey rear extension. The layout has been developed to suit the specific needs of the client and their family, along with creating an external aesthetic with great character.

The approved proposal includes:

  • A two-storey side extension to provide a garage, utility and toilet downstairs, and additional bedroom and bathroom space upstairs

  • A two-storey rear extension to provide an additional large bedroom upstairs

  • A single-storey rear extension to create a large social kitchen dining space with a veranda connecting the space to the rear garden

  • An external elevation design and material selections that complements the existing property whilst offering its own personal character

We worked closely with the Client throughout the process to make sure the design reflects how they want to live, while also meeting local planning requirements and respecting the surrounding area.

Getting planning approval is a big step forward, and we’re excited to move on to the next stage and see the project come to life.
