This 1960s two-bedroom semi-detached house in Sale benefits from a wide side access with an attached storage room and a generous rear garden. The client approached us to explore options for a single-storey rear extension and a potential two-storey side extension. We developed a broad range of initial proposals, considering everything from retaining the storage room, internal reconfigurations, small side and rear extensions, to combinations of both, always with the aim of creating a larger, more sociable kitchen-dining area as the key family hub. Each concept was accompanied by 3D sketch views to help the client visualise the space.

Following the completion of an optioneering report with drawings, this enabled the client to explore initial costs and plan for a future extension.
