Planning Approval Granted for Northcote Road

We’re pleased to share that our design for the two-storey home extension in Stockport, Greater Manchester has now received planning approval, following a smooth and swift process with Stockport Council.

The project focuses on extending and improving an existing family home to better suit day-to-day living. The aim was to create more space, bring in additional natural light, and improve the overall layout, while making sure the extension feels like a natural part of the original house.

The approved proposal includes:

• A two-storey side extension to provide extra living and ancillary space downstairs, and additional bedroom space upstairs

• A single-storey rear extension to create a more open and connected main living area, including a large social kitchen

• A more open and connected ground floor layout, linking the home more effectively to the rear garden

• An external elevation design and material selections that complements the existing property and surrounding street

We worked closely with the Client throughout the process to make sure the design reflects how they want to live, while also meeting local planning requirements and respecting the surrounding area.

Getting planning approval is a big step forward, and we’re excited to move on to the next stage and see the project come to life.
